Coronavirus Inventory Impact
Dear Valued Customer,
As the 2019 Coronavirus (COVID-19) becomes a growing concern nationwide, we have experienced a tremendous increase in the volume of orders on preventative items such as disinfectants, masks, hand sanitizers, soaps, tissue, and more. As a result, overwhelming volume levels are driving an increase in inventory outages and delayed shipments.
INVENTORY / CUSTOMER FULFILLMENT
Demand for product categories like disinfectants, masks, hand sanitizers, soaps, tissue, wipes, and related products has been unprecedented. We are currently out of stock on number of items within these categories. This is a market wide problem that is not unique to Economy Office Supply Co. We are working closely with our suppliers to replenish inventory as quickly as possible. Several suppliers have implemented allocations as the demand is outpacing supply capacity. This impact will continue for some time and inventory availability will be very fluid. As inventory for these items becomes available we will fulfill orders and ship product as soon as possible.
POLICIES
These current conditions do require Economy Office Supply Co. to evaluate our policies to ensure we are servicing all customers effectively. We have a few updates and reminders.
- We will not be accepting returns for orders placed March 1, 2020 or later, on product categories like disinfectants, masks, hand sanitizers, soaps, tissue, and wipes. Brands: Gojo, Purell, Dial, Genuine Joe, Boardwalk, 3M, Lysol, Clorox, Kimberly Clark and others.
- Price deviation requests for items on the Coronavirus Preventative Items file will not be allowed.
