Our History

In 1949 Richard Keefe started Economy Stationers & Printers in a retail store located in the Miracle Mile District of Los Angeles.  As a support system for the communities growing businesses, their name was changed to Economy Office Supply. In 1974 they made their official name Keefe Business Services, Inc., DBA Economy Office Supply Company. In 1978, a dedicated employee John King along with his wife Debi purchased the company. In 1988 Economy out grew their offices and warehouse space and moved to Glendale, California, were they continue to serve the local and surrounding communities. While Economy has always been a local, small independent business, in the 90’s they became part of a global buying group, added a women-owned certification and Debi King as their President.  Don’t let ‘local and small business’ fool you. As a local, family owned, independent dealer they are able to provide competitive pricing and the flexibility you need whether you are a small or large business or anywhere in between.

Economy Office Supply offers exceptional service and competitive pricing, while maintaining the highest levels of integrity, honesty and a commitment to excellence. With a fleet of their own trucks and courteous drivers Economy is able to provide next day delivery. Their software system has changed since 1949, but the attention to customer service hasn’t. They have integrated and maintained a user friendly website for easy customer online ordering. Economy has many years of customer service experience within their talented group of employees and only one goal – to provide you with the best. Economy realizes that their customers are what keep them in business.
