All major domestic paper mills have announced a price increase, in effect July 1, 2021. The continued reduction in capacity from permanent shutdowns at the mill level, high operating rates, increasing pulp price, increased transportation costs, and very limited import have created an immediate and extremely tight market. The mills are already experiencing extended lead times on shipments of all paper grades, with most, if not all, on some sort of allocation.
The increases will impact all Suppliers and Brands. As a result of these market conditions, Economy Office Supply is announcing a price increase of 6 – 12% , effective with shipments Thursday, July 1, 2021. We encourage you to begin planning for these increases. Below are some of the mills that have made announcements:

- Domtar: Xerox, Private Brand, EarthChoice, Willcopy, Lettermark, Husky and more
- Boise: Boise, Polaris, Aspen, Fireworx, X-9
- Navigator: Neenah, Mohawk, Navigator, Discovery, Pionner and more
As the paper mills provide item-level detail, Economy will update prices. We expect all prices to be updated by June 30, 2021.
