SAP Announces Economy Office Supply Launch
SAP, the provider for the new Economy Office Supply online ordering portal, issued a press release about the portal launch on March 5, 2009. This launch marks a great new endeavor by Economy Office Supply to provide the best customer experience as possible. The details of the press release are below:

On behalf of SAP and IDS Scheer we are excited to announce the successful installation of Economy Office Supply!\
Economy's Go Live Project was beautifully executed by Kathy O'Brien's team on time and on budget. Bringing a full stocking dealer live in six weeks is a critical milestone in the re-launch of the RTS business model. Economy is a validation of the good work the team has done in documenting this solution and creating a Go Live methodology that will only improve with each successive dealer install.
I would especially like to thank Economy Office Supply for their patience, unbending support, and hard work in meeting the targeted Go Live date. Economy was one of the first dealers to commit to SAP three years ago, and they have waited patiently for our delivery ability to catch up to our marketing ability.
I invite everyone to extend a friendly welcome to the good people at Economy...but not all at once as they are still in those challenging first days of learning and operating a new system. I am pleased to report that Economy will be present at the Dealer Meeting on March 24th so we can all toast their success in person.
The next dealer install has already begun with The Paper Clip Club. We fully expect another on time, on budget victory to announce next month.
